Pursuant to the national “Two Resources, Two Markets” strategy, CGNPC actively explore and develop uranium resources both at home and abroad. As approved by the State Council, CGNPC has already obtained exclusive qualification for nuclear fuels import and export.
Total locked amount of natural uranium is about 170,000 tons which is sufficient to support 22 x 1000MW NPP units for 40 years.
