CGN has developed, or participated in developing, the following wind power projects:

A 300MWeXimeng Huitengliang Wind Power Plant in Inner Mongolia, the first largest wind power concession project in China

Zhangjiakou Wind Power Base, the first Chinese 1000 MWe wind power base

Jiuquan Wind Power Base, China's first 10,000 MWe wind power base

Donghai Bridge 100 MWe Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Project in Shanghai, China's first large offshore wind power project


By the end of Mar., 2012, CGNPC owns an installed generation capacity of 3,130MW under share control (incl. 2,270MW already in operation) and 509MW for equity, participates in construction of national-level 10,000MW and 1,000MW offshore wind power bases and conducts feasibility study on wind power projects with a total installed capacity of 9,640MW, thus establishing its leadership in the industry, technically and operationally. CGNPC aims to become leading in comprehensive performance in China’s wind power industry by 2020.
