In order to carry out the national mid and long-term disposition and speed up nuclear power construction, CGNPC taking Guangdong as its base, did site selection and early-stage preparation throughout the country. The early-stage preparations of new NP projects in Xianning, Lufeng, Wuhu, Lianyugang, Jieyang and Shaoguan have witnessed enjoyable progress. The site selection in Sichuan, Jilin, Hunan, Zhejiang, Shandong and Fujian provinces is going ahead as planned. It helped the country reserve a considerable number of sites as resources.

Besides, to proactively respond the national strategy of “Going Global”, CGNPC carries out internationalization strategy and develops overseas nuclear power market step by step. Up to now, CGNPC has signed the Letter of Intent on Nuclear Cooperation with Belarus and participated in the nuclear power market development in Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, etc.
